Dave was born in Dayton, Tennessee to a godly Christian Family. In spite of his family's influence, Dave ran from God as fast as he could. Like the prodigal son, he came back to Jesus at age 24 and has enjoyed a deep love relationship with Him ever since.

He attended the Word of Life Bible Institute for two years and then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Pastoral Studies from Tennessee Temple University. He worked with Word of Life in their Camping program for 5 summers and 3 years full-time.
Dave first came on staff at Citrus Park Christian School where he taught Bible for three years. In the summer of 2001, First Baptist Church of Citrus Park called him to be the Pastor of Youth and Education.
Dave became the senior pastor last fall and is looking forward to serving you for years to come.
