Children's Classes

 

Nursery - Kim Ordile - 215/218

The nursery at First Baptist Church of Citrus Park serves children from ages birth to 4 years. During our Sunday School hour we have organized classes for those ages 3 and 4 using a special curriculum geared specifically for that age group. Mrs. Olivia Dixon and Mrs. Debbie Thomas bring life to the Bible stories we all loved as children, and create a safe environment for all in their care.
Following Sunday School the 3 and 4 year olds have their own special church service with songs, Bible videos, color time, ABC verses, playtime, and snacks. This outstanding pre-school program allows parents the freedom and peace of mind to enjoy a morning of fellowship and Bible study while their precious little ones are cared for by our servant-leader staff.
The infant and toddler nursery accommodation, for children birth to 2 years of age, has three rooms to meet every need that may arise during a visit to FBCCP. The areas include a crib room, a waddler play room, and a toddler play room. These facilities are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
All of our nursery workers are member of FBCCP who volunteer to serve on a rotating basis. They are trained and assigned to the age group they are most comfortable with.
We have sign-in/out stations conveniently located in the hallway outside of each room of the nursery wing. The sign-in/out sticker is in two parts; the first goes on your child's back with their name and number on it, the second goes with you and is used to retrieve your child when numbers and names are matched. These procedures are highly effective and promote security while preventing any mishaps. There is also a paging system in place and is used any time the nursery team feels it is necessary to contact you anywhere on the campus.

We in three year old Sunday School are learning about God through play, songs, stories, prayer, crafts, and learning how to fellowship with other three year olds. Every thing is so new that everything is exciting! Everyone age three is invited to join in the fun every Sunday at 9:30.Thanks, Mrs. Debi Thomas

1st and 2nd - Pam Milford - 106
Our 1st and 2nd grade Sunday School Class is an energetic group of boys and girls who enjoy inter-active learning. We meet every Sunday in room 106 in the elementary building. Our children participate in games, hands-on learning activities, music, drama, Bible stories and memory verses to learn Bible truths and application for their daily living. Come join us for an hour of fun-filled learning about our Great God and Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

3rd and 4th - Linda Bray - 108
Early arrivers get to listen to stories of Great Christians. Then we talk about how the week has gone. Bible lesson, pray requests, then we have praise & worship time. "God of Wonders" and "Awesome God" are favorites.

5th and 6th Boys - John Liotine - 101
As a Sunday school teacher, one of my overall themes to encourage genuiness in one's faith in the Lord by developing a hunger for Him, an appreciation for the Word of God, and a thriving relationship to Jesus Christ. The use of discussion, games, pictures, movies and elucidating the truths of scripture by beginning with placing a passage of scripture in its broader context and ultimately focusing in on a personal application for one's own life

5th and 6th Girls - Jill Ferguson -103

Come join the 5th and 6th grade girls Sunday School Class here at FBCCP. We enjoy an hour packed full of Bible study that involves games, crafts, singing and goodies to share. It is my desire as a teacher to help our preteen aged girls to grow in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus. So, come on out to our class! You won't want to miss our Willy Wonka Christmas Party this December!
